Experiences

Student Leadership University (SLU), Reasonable Faith Club, and a new Apologetics experience offer immersive experiences to foster a strong Biblical worldview. SLU shapes influential leaders through hands-on training and mentorship, while Maven equips the next generation to defend and confidently share their faith with skeptics and non-believers. Reasonable Faith is an on campus meeting for students and parents to navigate challenging questions about faith and seeking truth.

Apologia   (Immersive Apologetics Trip)

Apologia, meaning “defense,” is a unique trip designed to help students explore their faith and understand competing worldviews in a university setting. On this trip, students will learn why Christianity is true, how to answer tough questions, and how to share the Gospel with confidence and grace.

Since many young people struggle with doubts or leave their faith in college, this experience gives high schoolers guided exposure to the challenges they’ll face, preparing them to stand firm in their beliefs.

o stand firm in their beliefs.

REASONABLE FAITH

There are two chapters that meet on campus: one is strictly for adults; the other is for students. Experience warmth and engagement within the Reasonable Faith community as you explore what it means to be a defender of the Christian faith. Truth will take shape, abstract ideas about God will become concrete, and your confidence will grow as you discover credible answers to curious questions.

Topics explored:

  • The existence of God

  • The meaning of life

  • The objectivity of truth

  • The foundation of moral values

  • The creation of the universe

  • The reliability of the Gospels

  • The historicity of the resurrection

DIVERSITY STUDENT UNION

In today’s culture, having a space where individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives can come together is more important than ever. The Diversity Student Union (DSU) is a community dedicated to maintaining open dialogue across diverse perspectives in a culture where open and cordial exchange is rare.

DSU is where King’s students can express their opinions openly, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue about our culture’s most pressing issues. We believe that, even amid disagreement, it’s possible to find common ground and build connections as a school family. In this way, DSU empowers students to navigate difficult conversations constructively, broadening their perspectives while promoting empathy and mutual respect.

In a society that often feels divided, DSU serves as a reminder of our Christian calling to see the image of God in every person.
